Last Man Standing privacy policy

Updated 25 October 2026

Who we are

Last Man Standing is made by Labwhistle (Finlay Cassell), in the UK. We’re responsible for the data described here. Questions: support@labwhistle.com.

What we keep

We don’t sell your details. The app doesn’t handle money: entry fees are paid between you and your league owner, outside the app. We never ask for or store bank details.

Why

To run the game: signing you in, showing who’s in your league, and working out who’s still standing. If you opt in, we may email you now and then about new apps or features. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and you can turn it off in the app’s Settings at any time.

Who can see it

Other players in your league see your name and your picks (picks only after each deadline), and the owner’s payment link if they’ve added one. Nobody else in the app sees your email address.

Your data is stored with Cloudflare, who run our servers, and sign-in codes are sent with Cloudflare’s email service. Cloudflare may keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to provide that service; see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Fixtures and results come from API-Football. Your phone never contacts them, and nothing about you is shared with them.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Unless you have a season pass, the app shows a banner ad served by Google AdMob, which keeps the app free. To choose, show and measure ads, Google may collect your IP address, device and app information, approximate location (from IP), ad interactions and, only if you allow tracking when iOS asks, your device’s advertising identifier. In the UK and EU you’re asked for consent through Google’s consent form first, and you can change your choice any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. Ads are processed under Google’s Privacy & Terms for partner sites. Your name, email address and leagues are never shared with Google. We only see totals, such as how many ads were shown.

Season pass (Apple and RevenueCat)

The season pass removes the ads and is bought through Apple; we never see your payment details or Apple ID. Purchases are checked through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous ID created for this app install plus the purchase receipt, so the pass can be confirmed and restored on another phone. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Reminders

Pick reminders are scheduled on your phone. They aren’t sent from a server and need no personal information.

How long we keep it

Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Your account is kept until you delete it.

Deleting your account

In the app: Settings › Account › Delete account. Your email address, name and sign-ins are deleted straight away. Your past picks stay in your leagues’ history as “Deleted player”, so everyone else’s results still add up.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it’s used. Email support@labwhistle.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Last Man Standing isn’t aimed at children under 13 and doesn’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
